Nice hotel in Barstow with reasonable prices rooms are a bit dated but functional.
Lots of BNSF guys coming in and out since the railway hub is apparently close by - nice well behaved crowd
You can cross the street to the quality inn where there's a Mexican restaurant with a bar,  or you can just walk across the parking lot to Bastrow burgers for lunch dinner or even breakfast
Easy on easy off by I - 15 and I - 40 freeways

My family and I stayed for one night while we're traveling. The room was very clean, staff friendly and the breakfast was really good! The only minor issue we had was the two beds we got are a little small for adults, but we slept well. We will definitely come back if ever staying for a lay over.

"This is the nicest lodging in Barstow that we have yet found. We have stayed at several motels in Barstow over many years traveling this route and this is the nicest yet with friendly staff, large clean rooms, fast internet and nice free breakfast."

"I was very satisfied with Ramada. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Front desk clerk pleasant and quick check in. Maintenance was called because I was unable to figure out the 2 remotes for the smart TV and he showed me to use."
